Description Our replication of the M1915 Belgian trousers are a part of the khaki field uniform that replaced the prewar dark blue attire. The M15 trousers are designed for durability in trench conditions, they are cut for practicality and comfort during long marches and daily wear. Our M1915 Belgian trousers are made of the same wool as the khaki-brown wool cloth to match the tunic ( 100% natural fibers – 80% wool- 20% cotton and other incipients, no synthetic blends, tight weave, approx. 14 oz. weight, warm, naturally pigmented mill dyed fabric), our trousers have a medium to high waistline with button fly, reinforced seat, and slightly loose cut through the thigh just like the original. The legs aretapered towards the ankle for use with puttees or gaiters, preventing snagging in mud. The trousers feature side pockets, a small watch pocket, and rear adjustments for fit just like the originals. Button tabs or interior buttons for braces/suspenders are included along with button fly and reinforced seat and side seams. The trousers were worn with the M1910 ankle boots and wool puttees, completing the typical field appearance of the Belgian soldier from 1915 onward, which are also available for sale on this page.
