Description This reproduction uniform set is based on the 1879 Anglo-Zulu War issue of the 24th Regiment of Foot, as famously depicted at Rorke’s Drift. The set includes the scarlet red infantry tunic with green facing and brass regimental details, the white colonial service pith helmet without 24th Foot badge, navy / dark-blue trousers with red side-stripe, white leather valise webbing equipment, black leather gaiters, and black polished marching boots. The tunic is made from scarlet wool serge with green collar and cuffs; the pith helmet is cotton-covered cork/pith core with leather liner; the kit includes cartridge boxes, bayonet frog and haversack in buff leather; and the boots are high black leather with hobnails for durability. Ideal for re-enactment, display or ceremonial dress, this ensemble captures all major elements of the Zulu War British line infantry dress.
