Description Authentic reproductions of British Army trousers from the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, as worn by officers and enlisted men of the 24th Regiment of Foot. The enlisted men’s trousers are made from durable dark blue wool serge, straight cut with a narrow red stripe running along the outer seam. Designed for field wear, they were issued for use with short ammunition boots and black gaiters. The officer’s trousers were tailored from fine blue doeskin or cavalry twill, featuring a wider red stripe, closer fit, and reinforced inner seams for mounted duty. Both models are fitted with side pockets, rear adjustment tabs, and button fly closures, and pair perfectly with the regiment’s scarlet tunic and equipment.
