One knife features an engraved national eagle & the production year "1935" while the other is stamped "W.P. & CO S.37 indicating the manufacturer and the year of production (1937). These engraving styles (the eagle) and the 1935 date are characteristic of items produced during the rearmament of the German military in the mid-1930s.
