Description Our reproduction of the German Helferin uniform is from the Army’s signals branch, and the the FS cap comes with yellow piping and appropriate badges. The uniform is tailored in correct fabric for the era, using original patterns. The ensemble includes, tunic, skirt and cap. Custom tailoring is available. Color is field grey. Authentic reproduction of the WWII German Women’s Helferin uniform, tailored in fine grey-blue wool gabardine as worn by female auxiliaries (Helferinnen) of the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, and Signals Corps. The tunic features a tailored feminine cut with a five-button front closure, notched lapels, and two lower patch pockets. Wehrmacht (Heer) Helferinnen – Female Army Auxiliaries details: Designation: Heeresnachrichtenhelferinnen (Army Signals Auxiliaries) and other administrative helpers. Tunic & Skirt: Field-grey (Feldgrau) wool tunic, four-pocket design resembling the M36/M40 field blouse, but tailored for women (narrower waist, longer skirt). Worn with a matching knee-length wool skirt. Blouse: White / light-grey cotton blouse with tie (black / field-grey). Headgear: Field-grey side cap (Schiffchen) with branch piping or a field cap bearing the Wehrmacht eagle and cockade. Yellow piping provided by default. Insignia: Wehrmacht eagle on right breast; rank/ service badges on the sleeve; some had specific cuff titles like “Nachrichtenhelferin des Heeres” (Army Signals Helper). Footwear: Black leather low shoes with grey stockings.
