Description This is a WW2 British WRNS (Women’s Royal Naval Service) Winter Service Uniform, consisting of the WRNS double-breasted serge jacket, matching serge skirt, WRNS cap with tally ribbon, black stockings, and black service shoes. This was the standard cold-weather dress worn by WRNS ratings throughout the war. A historically accurate reproduction of the WW2 Women’s Royal Naval Service winter uniform, made in heavy naval serge wool with correct WRNS tailoring, insignia and cap tally.
