Description This reproduction set replicates the early-pattern ATS uniform issued circa 1938-41: khaki serge jacket tailored for women, four flapped breast and hip pockets (with pleats on the breast pockets), fabric belt at the waist, brass General Service buttons, left-over-right buttoning (male pattern) and matching mid-calf skirt. The fabric is wool serge in “khaki green” tone, typical of early ATS service dress. (See reference: the service dress of the ATS originally matched men’s style with belt and four pocket design.) In the utitarian patter, small but time consuming articles were left out, like exposed buttons etc. Custom tailoring available -great for reenactors, movies, theater, collectors, museums etc.
