Description Our 100% verified replication of the WWII Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger Ammunition Bandolier is/was a specially designed load-carrying system used by German paratroopers for rapid-access ammunition storage during airborne and ground operations. Made from heavy tan / grey-green/field grey canvas with leather-reinforced lower compartments, this bandolier provided secure, evenly distributed weight and ease of movement during parachute jumps. It features six individual ammunition pockets, each secured by canvas web straps with leather pull tabs and metal studs, and an adjustable canvas shoulder strap with a metal buckle. The lower pouch sections were reinforced with brown leather to resist wear. Typically, the bandolier held 15 to 20 rounds per pouch, compatible with FG42 magazines or 5-round Kar98k clips. Favored for its comfort and efficiency, the bandolier was worn across the chest or around the waist, ensuring that the ammunition remained accessible and stable during jumps and combat maneuvers. A great favourite among reenactors, collectors and displays in museums. Theater groups/ movies/films welcome.
