Description The WWII British Army Denim Battledress (BDU) was introduced as a lightweight working uniform for use in summer and field conditions. Made from durable olive-green denim cotton drill, it mirrored the wool serge battledress pattern but was more comfortable for hot-weather wear. The tunic features pleated chest pockets, concealed button front, and waist adjustment tabs, while the trousers include a button fly, side pockets, rear pocket, and belt loops. This faithful reproduction captures the cut, texture, and functionality of original British issue denim BDUs used in North Africa, Italy, and home service.
