Made from heavy wool serge/doeskin in wool with balance cotton incipient, dyed in period-correct garance red using natural pigments, the fabric is mill dyed and not vat dyed for evenness of shade and color, the weight is less than 15 oz., tight weave and slightly rough finish. Tapered cut below the knee for wear with puttees or gaiters as is the norm for breeches/Jodhpurs. Reinforced seams and historically accurate tailoring. Button fly and reinforced crotch.
