Description Our replication of the World War I US Army M1917 Brown Denim Fatigue Jacket & trousers were introduced as part of the emergency issue working uniform for enlisted men serving stateside and in depot duties during 1917–18. Made from durable 9 oz brown denim cotton drill, it was a simplified and economical garment replacing the earlier blue fatigue coat. The jacket features a straight-cut body with five-button front, three external patch pockets without flaps, split cuffs with single-button closure, and reinforced seams for durability. Its distinctive brown tone and utilitarian design made it ideal for work details and training camps. This faithful reproduction is made to exact wartime pattern, matching original examples in color, weight, and cut. Trouser is straight cut, in same fabric as the tunic, button fly, 2 front side pockets, 1 rear pocket, reinforced crotch and seams, 1″ turn in at the trouser cuffs. Custom tailoring available at no extra cost. Great for renactors, collectots, museums, theater/movies/films.
