These boots hand made (with the upper being stitched by hand using natural thread and then the sole and upper are hand lasted – just like the originals), from full-grain brown/black pebble leather , of 0.5 mm thickness or higher, naturally vegetable tanned (not chrome tanned), using natural pigments, shine finish, bovine leather and secured with reinforced stitching Hand-stitched and pegged leather soles with hobnails, steel toe plates, and heel irons – hand lasted just like the originals. All hobnails, steel Toes plates, and heal irons made specially by us for this purpose. 8 eyelets with laces for ankle support to be worn with puttees/legwraps or gaiters. 100% accurate square toe shape and welted sole construction per period specification Ideal for WW1 re-enactments, museum displays, collectors, and heritage enthusiasts, films, movies or just plain sturdy outdoor use.
