Description Ours is a faithful reproduction of the 1917 U.S. Army Nurse Corps uniform worn by American nurses in World War I. Constructed from dark navy wool serge, featuring a tailored service jacket with four front pockets, a belted waist, and a matching ankle-length skirt. Designed for practicality and dignity, this uniform became the symbol of American women’s service on the Western Front and at home hospitals. This garment is a WWI U.S. Army Nurse Corps uniform (circa 1917–1919). It was part of the official service attire worn by female nurses serving with the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) both in the U.S. and overseas. The design reflects early 20th-century military tailoring adapted for women—functional, modest, and with clear parallels to men’s service tunics. Available in all sizes and custom tailoring. FS cap provided free of cost.
