The Class AB Rotel RMB-1585MKII is built around two massive toroidal transformers designed to supply stable current to an array of 8 high-efficiency energy storage capacitors. This power supply architecture delivers rich and deep bass energy with absolute control, even when driving the most demanding speakers. For optimal cooling, the Rotel RMB-1585MKII is equipped with 4 thermostat-controlled, variable-speed ultra-low-noise fans. It also has a rear panel switch to select the regular 5-channel mode or Bi-Amp mode. This unique setup allows for a separate amplifier channel for the left and right channel HF and LF drivers, resulting in improved dynamics and enhanced resolution from compatible speakers. The Rotel RMB-1585MKII is specifically designed for home theaters and custom installations. It also features auto-switching XLR balanced and RCA inputs to ensure compatibility with any AV Processor or home theater receiver preamp output.
