Qualifying regions & dates: - Austria: 9 May 1945 - 25 Oct 1955 - Germany: 9 May 1945 - 5 May 1955 - Italy: 8 Nov 1945 - 15 Dec 1947 - Trieste: 9 May 1945 - 25 Oct 1954 - Berlin: 9 May 1945 - 2 Oct 1990 - Asiatic-Pacific Area: 2 Sep 1945 - 27 Apr 1952 Note: Occupational service in Korea from 27 Jun 1950 to 27 Apr 1952 were also "eligible if they did not receive the Korean Service Medal.
